Terms and Conditions

PD Dr. Munk – Medical Writing, Consulting & Science

1. Scope of Application
These terms and conditions apply to all services and agreements between PD Dr. Munk (hereinafter referred to as the "Provider") and her clients, unless otherwise explicitly agreed in writing.

2. Services
The Provider offers services in the areas of medical writing, statistical analysis, study support, and academic coaching for companies, start-ups, and students. These services do not constitute therapeutic, medical, legal, or binding professional advice.

3. Conclusion of Contract
A contract is established through written or electronic confirmation of an offer or inquiry by the Provider. Verbal agreements are only valid if confirmed in writing.

4. Prices & Payment Terms
All prices are agreed individually. The price valid at the time of commissioning shall apply. Invoices are payable within 14 days without deduction unless otherwise agreed.

5. Delivery Time & Client Responsibilities
Service timelines are agreed individually. Clients are required to provide all necessary information in a timely manner. Delays caused by a lack of cooperation may result in an appropriate extension of agreed deadlines.

6. Copyright & Usage Rights
All texts, analyses, and materials created as part of the service are protected by copyright. They may only be used for the agreed purpose. Any distribution, publication, or reuse without prior written permission is prohibited.

7. Confidentiality
The Provider undertakes to treat all information received in the course of cooperation confidentially. The same applies to the client.

8. Liability
The Provider is liable only for damages resulting from intentional or grossly negligent breaches of duty. Liability for indirect damages or lost profits is excluded. The Provider assumes no responsibility for the evaluation or acceptance of content by third parties (e.g. supervisors, institutions, authorities).

9. Cancellations & Withdrawal
Appointments can be canceled free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled time. In case of later cancellation or no-show, up to 100% of the fee may be charged. For extensive projects, separate cancellation terms may apply and will be agreed individually.

10. Final Provisions
The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany apply. Place of jurisdiction is Berlin, where legally permitted. If any provision of these terms is or becomes invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.
